[Under Construction]In the 1970's People's Lobby revived the grassroots initiative process in California.  Its attacks on environmental, political and campaign reform problems were buttressed by its ability to circumvent the sometimes ineffective political structure by delivering initiative to the voters --- and by training others to do the same in California and the nation.
